As much as we like the fabulous conveniences and affordability of urban condo living our real esate team continually advise our clients to buy detached homes and land. Much like single-family homes around Vancouver, Lululemon Athletica Inc. founder Chip Wilson’s waterfront house on tony Point Grey Road increased in value by about 6.5 per cent, according to B.C. Assessment records.
However, that pushed the assessed value of his digs to almost $56 million. The second most valuable residential property was the private island in the Gulf Islands archipelago owned by Seattle Billionaire Craig McCaw, which was listed for $75 million. The rest of the Top 10 are:
